This month sees the doors opening for the very first time to the newest CPD event in the UK. Synergy Conference is the brain child of The Property Ladder Group and LawSkills – Leading Legal Minds, and has captured the attention of the Private Client Sector Professionals from all parts of the country.
Helen Graham, MD and Co-Founder of PLG, said:
“We are really excited about the feedback we have received so far.
We saw there was a need to reinvent the way CPD Conferences were put on, from the way the updates are provided right through to the kind of premises the event is held. In true PLG style we wanted to update the process and give legal professionals who operate within the sector something they would want to attend, and not just something they are required to. We certainly feel we have achieved this.”
Gill Steel is someone that draws a crowd. Arguably the speaker most within the world of probate, trusts and tax will do their learning from. A couple of years ago Gill announced she would no longer be travelling to speak at conferences, so what has drawn her out of “retirement” and be part of this new idea? She continued:
“When I announced I was retiring from travelling I had one last conference booked, my swan song if you will. However, the Covid pandemic saw this event cancelled meaning I did not get to have that one last sign off.
Having known Darren and Helen for many years, we have always had a common belief and indeed approach to how we work with other professionals within the Private Client Sector.
The definition of the word ‘synergy’ is – the interaction or corporation of two or more organizations, substances or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate efforts.
We feel this is exactly what our sector needs to be doing in order to ensure the absolute best service for the customer. Hence the name.”
The venue is beautiful, there is parking, the food will be so much better than delegates are used to at other conferences, there is a bit of entertainment and in addition the event is being filmed, so our attendees will get the recording in addition to paper notes.
Subjects being covered are:
- Tax
- Probate
- Pensions
- Wills
- Power of Attorney
- Trusts
- Digital Assets
- IPFD Claims
In addition, we will be discussing a real life scenario that invites our sponsors to introduce their services, and how we as a collective can ensure those engaging our services are looked after to the best of our ability.
