Proactive Private Client lawyers wanted

Former law firm CEO  and  author of “Ditch The Billable Hour” Shaun Jardine,  from The Big Yellow Penguin, is holding the third online conference for proactive lawyers who want to learn how to ditch the billable hour.

Private Client lawyers from all over the UK are invited to attend the online legal training event being held on the 12th March .

The conference  called “VBP For Proactive Lawyers”  is held on an online platform called REMO which allows delegates to network, work in groups and attend speaking events in the main theatre. Shaun Jardine explained:

“The  ultimate goal of the  event is to  encourage proactive  lawyers to embrace value-based pricing, and learn how they can give price options  for the value they deliver to their clients, not the time spent. It’s better for clients, lawyers and law firm owners   to stop living their lives in 6-minute increments.”

During the four-hour event, lawyers from a variety of practice areas will receive an introduction to:

  • The basic principles of value-based pricing.
  • Receive the results of the pricing confidence surveys that delegates will  have completed prior to the conference.
  • Gain an understanding of the benefits that value-based pricing brings to clients, law firms and, most importantly, the lawyers.
  • Participate in group exercises to help create fixed price agreements with pricing options, which give clients choice.

Shaun said:

“The feedback from delegates who have attended previous events has been fantastic. One firm at the November event sent 20 delegates. Interest in looking at a new way of pricing is gaining momentum.”

Jardine continued:

“The way in which the conferences have been delivered using REMO technology has  resulted in the Big Yellow Penguin making it to the final of the LEXIS NEXIS  Law awards in the legal supplier innovation category. The finals are on the 14th March.”
