Co-op Legal Services, the UK’s largest regulated provider of wills, estate planning and probate services, has reported a strong year of growth in its annual results with overall revenues having increased by 3% compared to the previous year (2021: £39m, 2020: £38m) and profits up by 28%.
The strong performance has largely been driven by an increase across its probate services where case openings have increased by over 20% year on year, with similar successes across its estate planning division which has seen revenues increase by 11% year-on-year.
The legal provider continues to invest in its digital services and has added a suite of tools to its portfolio in the last 12 months, including a digital Lasting Power of Attorney and digital wills service.
Its continued focus on becoming an inclusive and accessible digital law firm is helping to attract new clients and expand B2B partnerships. In the last year alone, it has joined forces with an additional 19 new partners from leading banks, financial services providers and charities.

Part of the member-owned Co-op Group, Co-op Legal Services has also supported over 3,000 charitable donations on behalf of its clients through their estate planning and probate journeys over the past 12 months. This is set to increase over the next year as its continues its partnerships with a range of leading charities.
