Tower Street Finance reacts to partner feedback

At Tower Street Finance, we pride ourselves on finding solutions to the financial challenges of probate. That is why we listen to our customers and partners and take on board their feedback.

Our Inheritance Tax Loan and Estate Expense Funding products are available where the executor/administrator (personal representative) is an individual. However, we have recently seen several cases where the personal representative was a Trust Company, which meant we could not provide a loan.

The solution meant we needed to change our products to ensure our customer and partners’ needs could be met.

As a leading innovator solving inheritance problems, we made this change quickly whilst ensuring our usual high standard of quality and service. Now, we are pleased to announce we can help customers and partners where the personal representative is a trust company.

Tower Street Finance’s Dicky Davies said:

It is important to us that we can respond quickly to the needs of our customers and partners, so we made this change once we realised there was a market need.

Because we are authorised by the FCA as a lender rather than a broker, it means we can change our products and underwriting criteria to help where there are inheritance issues, unlike many of our competitors.”

Inheritance Tax Loan and Estate Expense Funding help those who are responsible for administering an estate pay for Testamentary Expenses before the estate proceeds are released. These include:

  • Inheritance Tax
  • Funeral costs
  • Property maintenance
  • Professional fees
  • House clearance

Both products are repaid directly from the estate and there are no credit checks, no direct liability, no monthly repayments, and no charge over property.
