Today’s Training partners with HTF Legal

Today’s Wills and Probate has partnered with Helen Forster of HTF Legal to provide live and on-demand legal training for private client practitioners and willwriters.

Today’s Training was launched in 2020 with the intention of providing a “value add” service for readers of Today’s Wills and Probate and Today’s Conveyancer. Covering a range of topics from mental capacity, anti-money laundering, financial abuse and the updates to the trust registration service, the sessions provide practical guidance on tackling a range of challenging issues.

HTF Legal is run by Helen Forster, a solicitor and Trusts and Estates Practitioner. Since qualifying in 2009, she has specialised in Wills, Probate, Trusts, Tax and Court of Protection matters, and is a Dementia Champion with Age UK, a member for Solicitors for the Elderly and also a member of STEP (The Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners).

As a practitioner herself she has experienced many of the challenges in her day to day work and brings that understanding into her training. She has provided sessions for regional Law Societies and MBL Seminars, as well as providing in house training on a number of subjects.

Highly commended twice in the Yorkshire Legal Awards, as well as receiving an award for second place in the Modern Law Awards 2016 in the category of “Rising Star” in England and Wales, Helen has also been recognised in the Retirement Planning Awards as best Wills and Probate Solicitor in Yorkshire in 2022
