Today’s Media, the publishers of Today’s Wills and Probate and organisers of The British Wills and Probate Awards, has formally launched TWP Festival; dubbed private client’s answer to the classic music festival.
Mythe Barn and Sheepy Meadow in Warwickshire play host to TWP Festival which will see a line up of Artists, alongside the Headline and Support Acts, take centre stage throughout the day.
The line up includes The Law Commission, who will present on the soon-to-be-published proposals for will writing reform; Ian Cooper who will discuss ways firms can increase conversion rates of potential clients into profitable business; and the ‘Culture Club’ will explore the benefits associated with positive workplace culture, wellbeing, innovative ways of working and the 4-day week, and the impact on risk, recruitment, and retention.
After lunch the Festival moves to Sheepy Meadow where an afternoon of TED-style talks enables festival-goers to pick and choose the topics most relevant and interesting to them; with the line up of artists covering topics as varied as cyber security, relationships between charities and law firms, improving professional standards, and the lost art of rapport building in a digital age.
All access passes to the day are now available for £139 +VAT with plenty of early interest. Commenting on the launch and format of the day David Opie, Managing Director of Today’s Media said
“We know how busy legal life can be; if you’re going to take a day out of the office, even if it’s for development and learning, shouldn’t it be just a little bit special?”
