STEP chief executive David Harvey has announced he intends to leave the post from 30th June.

Current Deputy Chief Executive George Hodgson has assumed the role of Interim Chief Executive while a new Chief Executive is found.

In a group statement, the STEP Board said: “During his 15 years as Chief Executive of the organisation STEP has gone from strength to strength and we wish to thank David for his hard work, vision, and commitment over all of those years. We wish him every success in the future.”

David Harvey said: “It has been an incredible 15 years at STEP, working with gifted, exciting and dedicated members, colleagues and partners. I wish STEP, its members and employees and all of those they serve every success in the future.

“I have valued and enjoyed the opportunity to help build STEP around the globe, and to work with you all, thank you.”
