Redkite Solicitors say they are now the only firm in Wales whose contentious probate team hold multiple Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) full memberships, saying the feat ‘places the firm at the forefront of contentious probate expertise in the region.’
Partner and Head of Will, Trust and Estate Disputes, Alexia Thomas has been awarded full membership to the ACTAPS, a leading professional body for lawyers specialising in disputed wills, inheritance, and probate matters. On her recognition, Thomas says
“Being accepted as a full member of ACTAPS is a significant milestone in my career. It reflects the dedication and expertise I bring to every case, and reinforces Redkite’s commitment to delivering exceptional support in even the most complex and emotionally charged disputes. I’m proud to stand alongside the country’s leading specialists and to continue advocating for our clients with clarity, compassion, and strategic focus.”
ACTAPS membership is reserved for legal professionals who demonstrate ‘exceptional expertise and experience in this complex area of law’. By joining ACTAPS, Thomas becomes part of a network of specialists in trust and estate dispute resolution; an appointment which the firms says not only marks a significant personal achievement but also enhances the strength and depth of Redkite’s Will, Trust and Estate Disputes team.
Alexia now joins fellow Associate Solicitor Andrew Kelly, who has held full ACTAPS membership for over 13 years. Neil Walker, CEO of Redkite Solicitors, added
“We are absolutely thrilled at Alexia’s appointment as a full member of ACTAPS. Her membership of such a prestigious association is thoroughly deserved and recognises the outstanding work she delivers in this field. Alongside Andrew, Alexia’s appointment means Redkite’s Will, Trust and Estate Dispute Team now has the highest number of full ACTAPS members in Wales — an extraordinary achievement and one we are incredibly proud of.”
