Ally is a senior associate – chartered legal executive in the firm’s Dispute resolution team. She has over 25 years experience and works for a variety of companies dealing with all manner of business to business contract disputes ranging from damages claims as a result of termination disputes through to more complex high valuer contested invoice claims.
She has particular specialism in the handling of commission disputes for recruitment companies and estate agents. Ally is also part of the firm’s specialist leisure and hospitality team.
Ally is also head of our contentious probate team. She deals with all aspects of contentious probate litigation for both claimants and defendants including higher value Inheritance Act claims, disputes over the validity of wills, claims for lack of testamentary capacity and/or want of knowledge and approval, undue influence claims and applications to remove executors/trustees. She also deals with trust disputes and more recently has been instructed in connection with inquest proceedings.
Ally qualified in 1996. She had her first reported decision in 2004, namely ICM Computer Solutions plc v Computer 2000 Distribution Ltd & Others.
