National Paralegal Day 2023

The National Association of Licensed Paralegals (NALP) are hosting their third National Paralegal Day with an evening event at the House of Commons in London on Wednesday 8th November 2023, from 7pm to 9pm.

The event will also see NALP’s very first NALP Paralegal Achievement Awards, which are being launched this year as part of National Paralegal Day.

Amanda Hamilton, Patron, National Association of Licensed Paralegals (NALP) said:

“Paralegals are the unsung heroes of the legal profession and we are happy to be one of a number of sponsors to celebrate the important work that they do at the third annual National Paralegal Day event taking place at The House of Commons on the 8th November. Many consumers find it difficult to gain access to justice because of the cost of doing so, especially since the virtual eradication of legal aid ten years ago. This is where paralegals come into their own by providing access to justice at a reasonable cost. The growth of the paralegal sector, especially over the last five years or so, has been phenomenal, and NALP is proud to be at the forefront of that growth.”

National Paralegal Day was established to celebrate the role that paralegals play within the legal sector, and the contribution they make to the legal profession.

National Paralegal Day 2023 is sponsored by Mindful Education, Finders International, BARBRI, and the National Paralegal College.
