So today is the final day of my Will Writing Course, and I can safely say it has been an information heavy week.

Last night, I had the pleasure of joining the Women In Will’s virtual meeting which was hosted by Today’s Wills and Probate, and thanks to the course, I can safely say I had a better understanding of the way the Wills and Probate sector worked, and a new found respect for Trusts.

I can safely describe this course as a bit of a roller coaster for me. Day One was a great introductory day, and introduced me to things I’d already had a grasp of, but as the course progressed, I can honestly say my knowledge has grown.

I don’t think I’ll be rushing out and starting a little side hustle of writing wills for anyone. My advice would be to go and speak to a professional. However, when my friends turn around and say “I have nothing to leave to anyone”, I can give them a little bit of food for thought and demonstrate to them that they have more assets than they think.

Before I went off and enjoyed my weekend, I had the daunting task of completing the post-test course. Thankfully, I passed the test, so I’m glad that I’ve managed to understand, what to me is often a confusing sector.
