Irwin Mitchell bolsters Private Client Services team with senior will disputes hire

Irwin Mitchell has added to its Private Client Services Team with the appointment of Senior Associate Solicitor Sarah Bolt who specialises in will, trust and estate disputes.

Sarah will be based at the firm’s Bristol office and will be the firm’s first private client solicitor in the region alongside existing family law, complex personal injury and public law teams. Irwin Mitchell has the second largest private client team in the country and one of the largest contentious probate teams now with 52 lawyers nationwide and more joining in the coming months.

Sarah, who trained at Irwin Mitchell, joins from Freeths and has over 12 years of experience in dealing with high-value, complex, and cross-border trust, probate, and estate disputes. Commenting on her new role Sarah said:

“It’s great to be returning to the team at Irwin Mitchell where I trained as a solicitor 12 years ago.

The firm has a great private client services team with a strong reputation across the country in a number of areas of law and I’m looking forward to playing a key part in its growth in the Bristol region. Coming back to Irwin Mitchell marks a new chapter for both myself personally and the firm – the team has big plans for growth in the private client space – it’s a really exciting time and I can’t wait to get started.”

Paula Myers, Director of Private Client Legal Services at Irwin Mitchell, said:

“I’m delighted to welcome Sarah to our Bristol office, we have big plans to extend our private client offering in the region and Sarah will play a key role in making this happen.

Sarah brings a wealth of experience in helping clients with a range of contentious probate issues and shares our passion for supporting clients at every step of their journey. Her experience will be invaluable as we look ahead and it’s a pleasure to be able to welcome her to the team.”

Irwin Mitchell continues to grow, most recently opening a new Brighton office to further add to its offering in the southeast of England. In the South, the firm already has offices in Chichester and Southampton as well as London and Gatwick. Opening in Brighton takes Irwin Mitchell’s office locations to 18 across the UK and follows successful new office openings in Cardiff and Liverpool in 2022.
