The frustration for those growing their estate planning business can stem from how to assist clients beyond the first ‘job’. Specifically aimed at those looking to improve their offerings and position within the industry, ‘The Changing the Face of Legal Services’ is an upcoming event hosted by the Legal Services Guild (LSG). The seminar will provide an ideal opportunity for members of the estate planning and will writing community to improve and develop their knowledge of the market, as well as network with like-minded professionals.

As a member of this evolving industry, it is important to be aware of the current will writing landscape. In a market which is constantly developing, standing out as an expert alongside fellow legal professionals is essential but can often be difficult to achieve. The market-leading, Barrister-developed training offered by LSG is able to provide accreditation, vital support using specialised expertise, technology, a Code of Conduct and comprehensive marketing assistance.

Grounded in providing experts with the benefit of principled legal services, the Guild membership enables access to a strong network of likeminded individuals as a Barrister Intermediary. The seminar will also allow attendees to learn how to offer more legal services to clients beyond Estate Planning, from insurances to Conveyancing.

Attending this LSG event will provide the ideal opportunity to engage with fellow Estate Planners, discuss upcoming industry challenges, as well as developing essential knowledge on the future of Will Writing.

The seminar will include talks from legal experts Nigel Walker-Jennings LLB (Hons) LLM Barrister, In-House Counsel & Director at the Legal Services Guild; as well as Patrick Harrison, Head of Corporate Membership and practicing Barrister Intermediary.

Striving to offer members an optimum level of expertise, Walker-Jennings aims to utilise the skills within the network of LSG professionals to enable the best service to be delivered to clients of all professionals within the sector.

As a Barrister Intermediary at LSG, Harrison aims to help clients access the legal assistance they require. This can range from legal documentation drafting all the way up to representation by leading Queen’s Counsel.
