“The IHT forms and additional schedules are substantial and detailed. Previously, we would download the forms and manually type in the information. If any corrections were needed, the form had to be retyped.
“This was incredibly time-consuming and if things didn’t add up it could take time to find out where the issue was. With Exizent, information is added centrally just once and then it’s automatically pulled through, minimising any chance of human error and ensuring accuracy.
“It depends on the complexity of the case, but Exizent can save us anything from an hour, up to three to four hours on a more complex case.“
The estate accounts function is also valued. Historically, the team used Excel but are now moving over to Exizent. Again, this saves time, and the final presentation of the report is professional and easy for clients to understand as well as being easy to tailor.
The training and support have also been excellent. Jake, the team’s account manager from Exizent, is prompt in responding to queries and provides short videos to help with specific functionality. He is also able to pass on suggestions to the development team for future enhancements.
The team is also keen to begin using the new correspondence feature, which will support their communication in the future.
