Extension for paper probate applications until new year

FreeWills.co.uk targets £60M in charity pledges and 1k partners in 2025

As Free Wills Month gears up again to highlight the importance of will-writing this March, FreeWills.co.uk is reminding the public that every day can be a Free Wills Day.

FreeWills.co.uk is aiming to raise £60 million in pledged donations while doubling its charity partner network to 1,000 organisations. Having surpassed 500 charity partners by August 2024, the company continues its rapid expansion, helping more people leave a lasting impact while securing their own futures. Carl Christensen, Managing Director of FreeWills.co.uk, said:

“While Free Wills Month is a great initiative that encourages people to think about their legacy, it remains limited to specific age groups and time periods. FreeWills.co.uk removes these barriers, offering an easy, cost-free way for people of all ages to write a legally binding will at any time of the year.”

Carl said that their mission is to make legacy giving accessible to everyone, “not just for a month, but every day”. He added:

“We’re doubling down in 2025—not just to support charities in securing much-needed funds, but to empower individuals to leave legacies that truly make a difference.”

Charlotte Kyte from Service Dogs UK shared how the platform has transformed their fundraising efforts:

“We are amazed at the success we have had attracting funding with FreeWills and we now see it as a vital part of our fundraising activities.”
