Fisher Jones Greenwood appoints new private client partner

Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP (FJG) has welcomed experienced private client solicitor Karina Jowitt as a Partner within the Wills, Life Planning, and Probate team at its Colchester office.

Reflecting on her new role, Karina said that after more than ten years with the same firm, the time felt “right to make a change” and embrace new challenges. She continued:

“Joining Fisher Jones Greenwood will allow me to deepen my expertise and further develop my career within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. I am excited to bring my skills to new clients, support them with their personal legal needs, and contribute to the firm’s ongoing success.”

Having worked to assist the East Anglian community for over a decade, this strategic appointment further enhances the team’s expertise and reinforces FJG’s reputation as a leading regional law firm.

Karina launched her legal career at Gotelee Solicitors in Ipswich, joining as a trainee solicitor in 2012 and qualifying in 2014. She brings over a decade of expertise in private client law, with specialisms in trusts and tax planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Declarations of Trust, Wills, Probate, and estate administration.

Her appointment follows the arrival of fellow Partner Clare Moreton to the team late last year, marking a significant phase of growth for FJG’s private client department, as demand for its services continues to rise across the region. Greg John, Head of Wills, Life Planning, and Probate at FJG, said:

“Karina’s extensive experience and knowledge will be invaluable to our clients and the ongoing development of our practice. I speak for the entire team when I say we are excited to have her on board.”
