The 2022 edition of the Awards, held at The Grand Hotel, Birmingham
The British Wills and Probate Awards, sponsored by CTT Group, is heading for a sell-out with the ceremony just three weeks away. 450 practitioners are expected to come together at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester on 11th October to celebrate “the Oscar’s of the probate world” and recognise excellence across the Wills and probate community.
Having been hosted at The Grand Hotel in Birmingham for the past 2 years, organisers Today’s Media moved the awards to a larger venue for 2023 to accommodate the growing demand. This year over 400 tickets have been sold for the Gala Dinner with a handful available. The deadline for tickets is midnight on Monday 25th September, Those unable to join can register to watch the hybrid ceremony via www.britishwillsandprobateawards.co.uk.
Launched in 2018, The British Wills and Probate Awards is now in its 6th year, and uniquely celebrates Wills and probate practitioners from across the regulated and unregulated communities. With 25 categories and over 400 practitioners in attendance the 2023 event is the biggest yet. This year welcomes back former Royal Correspondent Jennie Bond to lead the evening’s proceedings; with Jennie’s incredible anecdotes a highlight of the awards evening.
For the past 3 years the awards has been hosted as a hybrid event; with the in-person ceremony live streamed via the British Wills and Probate Awards website. The format of the event enables attendees to make the most of the evening, with the online audience able to join in the celebrations alongside those in person; and extensive networking opportunities throughout the evening facilitated by Networking Sponsor Exizent.
The Awards ceremony will begin at 5pm and run until 6.30om. From 6.30pm-7.45pm the Networking Reception will be hosted with Dinner served from 8pm. With the formalities of the evening dispensed with, the dinner is an informal affair as attendees chat and mingle throughout dinner.
