Event Reminder – The Wills and Probate Conference 2024

The Wills and Probate Conference 2024 is taking place on 14th March 2024 and organised by Helen Forster, Managing Director of HTF Legal, sponsored by Estatesearch.

Managing the Risks

An all day conference with plenty of discussion, covering the latest technical developments and best practice for firms that offer Wills and Probate services.

The Conference will be bringing together some of the UK’s leading experts in the field of Wills and Probate compliance. With an exciting agenda, the full-day event will focus on the theme of managing risk in the Wills and Probate sector.

Helen Forster, Managing Director of HTF Legal, event organiser, commented:

“Contentious Probate claims and Will challenges have more than doubled in the past 4 years and the processes for making Wills have altered too, with remote signing more common than ever.

Add to this the fact that firms are facing an unprecedented need to protect against threats from fraud and cyber-theft and it’s easy to see why an event like this is needed.”

The 2024 conference is suitable for both SRA and non-regulated firms. Topics will focus on challenges but with plenty of opportunities to put your own questions to the various experts and speakers.

From will drafting challenges, administration risks and cyber security to knowing when a non-contentious matter becomes contentious, this conference is designed to consider the risks for those working in this area and how to safely navigate compliance requirements.
