Digital assets, disputes and due diligence: ‘Unconference’ TWP Festival 2.0 first speakers confirmed

The first speakers have been confirmed for TWP Festival 2.0; the ‘unconference’ hosted by Today’s Media, the publishers of Today’s Wills and Probate.

After the success of year one, which drew its inspiration from the leafy fields of Warwickshire for a music-festival themed day, TWP Festival 2.0 returns with inspiration from the industrial surroundings of Digbeth, where re-development of industrial units and warehouses has created a bohemian environment.

Tickets for the day, which will be hosted on 23rd June 2026 at redeveloped bond warehouse The Bond and converted church Fazeley Studios, are now available.

The first tranche of speakers has been confirmed this week, with presentations throughout the day leading on the themes of technology and modernisation, business and planning, and the law.

Confirmed topics and speakers include:

  • Dealing with client complaints: Legal Ombudsman
  • Lessons from practice; avoiding future disputes: IDR Law
  • Build to last, build to sell: What acquirers really look for in a will writing or probate business: Octopus Legacy
  • Adding Value to Your Private Clients: Spotting Financial Planning Needs in Wills and LPA Advice: Trinity Bridge Wealth Management
  • 2026 estate planning market conditions: LEAP Estates

TWP Festival 2.0 will also host the return of the State of the Nation discussion. First hosted by Today’s Wills and Probate in 2021, the State of the Nation discussion brings together expert voices from around the sector in an interactive forum to explore the current state of play in wills, probate, tax, trusts and estate planning.

More topics and speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

TWP Festival was created by Today’s Media, the publishers of Today’s Wills and Probate, envisaged as a conference with a difference. This year, through a mix of plenary sessions and breakout discussions, festival-goers will garner a comprehensive update of wills, tax, trusts, probate and estate planning from industry experts.

The event’s venue facilitates extensive exhibition and networking opportunities for delegates throughout the day. Festival-goers are invited to stay for further entertainment and a BBQ at the end of a day of insight and learning.

Early bird tickets are available now at a rate of £119 +VAT for an all-access pass to the day’s agenda. At the conclusion of the early bird discount, tickets will be £149 +VAT.
