Countdown to SWW Conference

Today’s Wills & Probate are delighted to be attending the upcoming Society of Will Writers (SWW) Conference, due to take place on the 9th of October.

The popular annual event provides industry professionals with the chance to expand industry knowledge, engage with carefully selected exhibitors as well as network with likeminded professionals.

Following the success of previous years, 2017’s conference will once again feature talks from high profile industry experts on topical issues within the Wills and Probate sector.

Guest speakers featured on this year’s agenda include:

  • Tim Farmer – Mental capacity assessment expert & member of the Court of Protection Practitioners Association
  • Ingrid McCleave – Specialist solicitor and tutor for the College of Will-Writing
  • Caroline Bielanska – Solicitor, Lecturer and Independent Consultant
  • Craig Ward – Solicitor, CEDR accredited mediator, writer and speaker
  • Sally Jones – Head of Legal, Office of the Public Guardian
  • Adam Johnson – Director of New Forest Wealth Management Ltd

The focus of this year’s event will be on vulnerable clients, covering mental capacity assessments, application of the Equality Act as well as practical advice on how to engage with clients.

Being held for another year at the Abbey Hotel and Country Club in Redditch, the Annual Conference will continue to be held across two days on 9th and 10th October 2017.
