Firms wishing to enter The British Wills and Probate Awards, sponsored by CTT Group, have until midnight tonight (Friday 24th May) to take advantage of the Early Bird entry price of £129 +VAT. From tomorrow (25th May) the price of entering the awards will increase to £169 +VAT. To take advantage of the early bird rate, firms need only complete the entry form; the deadline for final submissions is Friday 12th July 2024. Ticket sales have also been launched today for the ceremony which is being hosted in Manchester on 10th October 2024.
The awards uniquely recognise the will writing, probate, tax, trusts, solicitor and estate planning communities; with its embracing of the whole sector a key component of the event. Firms may enter up to 3x categories and in response to comments in previous years, organisers Today’s Media have introduced a single category entry this year priced at £89 +VAT. The awards provide firms with the opportunity to showcase their teams and individuals within the organisation across the sector. In the run up to the awards, shortlisted individuals and firms receive personalised assets to demonstrate their success on websites, social media, newsletters etc and build their profile and credibility.
Alongside wowing potential clients, awards success can also aid recruitment and contribute to a culture of excellence, innovation and success in an organisation. With a range of categories, firms can select the awards they feel be suited to, or have ambitions to be recognised for. In recent years, categories that showcase a firm’s commitment to its staff and clients have increased in popularity with the ‘Best Place to Work’ now one of the most popular categories, alongside ‘Customer Service Champions.’ In 2024 organisers Today’s Media have undertaken a wholesale review of the categories and criteria to ensure that the awards remain as relevant now, as they were when they launched in 2018; with new categories introduced including ‘Tax & Trust Team of the Year’ and ‘Estate Planning Firm of the Year.’
