Day three of the shortlist for the British Wills and Probate, sponsored by CTT Group, reveals the firms, businesses and individuals recognised for their commitment to innovation, service excellence, client experience and technical expertise ahead of this year’s awards.
The first and second group of categories have been published through this week with further categories tomorrow (Thursday 22nd August) before full shortlist will be published in the Today’s Wills and Probate newsletter on Friday 23rd August, and also on The British Wills and Probate Awards website.
Firms who are shortlisted are provided with a range of digital assets and PR to be used on websites, emails, newsletters and social media to help them make the most of their success. Firms are also encouraged to share their success on social media using #BWAPAwards2024.
The winners will be announced live at The British Wills and Probate Awards which is hosted on 10th October 2024 at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester and simultaneously live streamed via the British Wills and Probate Awards website. Tickets for the awards are available now.

Returning as Headline Sponsor for the second year, CTT Group Director Clive Ponder TEP says
“It’s an absolute pleasure and a privilege to once again be headline sponsors. The BWAP Awards recognise the very best in our industry and having the honour of being a judge this year, I’ve seen firsthand the talent and dedication, and the heights of achievement this industry can reach. Huge congratulations to all those who’ve been shortlisted for the awards. I look forward with great enthusiasm to the 2024 winners being announced at this year’s event in Manchester in October.”
The judges have also commended the submissions this year, with favourable comparisons against previous years as the Wills and probate sector continues to innovate and evolve.
“Submissions have steadily improved, not only in relation to the stories they tell of increased innovation and process improvement, but also more simply in the quality of the submissions themselves. Their responses are supported with evidence rather than just statements, and they actually answer the questions! From an innovation perspective it has been fascinating and reassuring to see firms with truly innovative methods and ideas, rather than, several years ago, judging submissions where innovation might have meant ‘we use a Practice Management System!'”
says Alex Holt Chief Revenue Officer at Cashroom and long-standing judge.
Congratulations to all those shortlisted for The British Wills and Probate Awards 2024. The next round of categories will be published at 9am tomorrow (Thursday 22nd August).
