In celebration of Remember a Charity Week, the British Deaf Association (BDA) has announced that Culver Law is now offering the first ever British Sign Language (BSL) accessible will writing service to the Deaf community.
They have said that they are proud that their cause has been recognised and that this crucial service is now available, due to BDA Chief Executive Rebecca Mansell championing the need for this service through her role on Remember A Charity’s Council.
This service is provided at no cost unless dealing with more complex Wills. For more complex wills, Culver Law will clearly outline any extra charges in advance, ensuring full transparency. Culver Law is dedicated to making this process “smooth and stress-free”. Their goal is to guarantee that everyone in the Deaf community has access to professional will writing services in BSL. They said:
“This service also offers a meaningful opportunity to consider leaving a legacy to the BDA or any charity of your choice. By doing so, you will help support our efforts or those of other organisations, enabling the possibility to continue vital work in supporting and advocating for the Deaf community for years to come.”
Culver Law’s entire company has undergone Deaf Awareness Training, and their website and meetings are fully BSL-accessible. Their lead solicitor is involved in the Deaf community and is currently taking her Level 6 in BSL.
