Yesterday we officially announced that we have teamed up with Barnardo’s as our chosen charity partner for the next two years, running until September 2026.
Barnardo’s is a charity our researchers have reached out to, over the years, to help find missing relatives for deceased people who, as children, were in their care. We are delighted that our staff have chosen to support the charity in awareness campaigns, fundraising and an employee donation scheme.
This year, Barnardo’s has been working incredibly hard to promote the wide range of services they provide for young people – in 2022-23, they supported 323,200 people across 811 services. We look forward to helping them raise awareness of the wonderful work they do in helping young people in residential, emotional and educational matters.
Our first fundraising initiative has kicked off already with an internal raffle to win an extra day of annual leave with the winner to be announced before the end of September.
