Estatesearch Enhances Secure Platform with Multifactor Authentication

Multi-award winning legal technology company Estatesearch has further enhanced security on its ordering platform by introducing the option for multifactor authentication (MFA).

Ben Furlong, Managing Director, Estatesearch confirmed:

“Cyber-attacks are an ever-present, industry-wide risk.  As the largest provider of asset and liability searches in the UK and an ISO27001 accredited company, we are committed to the continual review and enhancement of our security processes.  In line with this, we have introduced MFA as an optional feature for firms accessing our platform – a particularly valuable tool for organisations with multiple users.”

Sarah Stevenson, Senior Team Leader, Probate Operations, Co-op Legal Services confirmed:

“Information security is of paramount importance to us at Co-op Legal Services to ensure our clients’ data is protected.  That’s why we wanted to thank Tanya and Jenna from Estatesearch for their help in implementing Multi Factor Authentication to all the Estatesearch portal users within our company.”

In addition to Asset & Liability Searches Estatesearch also provides Digital Asset Searches, Will Searches, Trustee Notices, Overseas and UK Bankruptcy Searches, Unoccupied Property Insurance, and Share Services including valuation, verification and sale or transfer.  With no registration or subscription fees, customers simply pay for the disbursements they need, when they need them.  Searches are ordered through Estatesearch’s secure online portal which has been rated excellent or good in terms of ease of use by 98% of customer satisfaction survey respondents.

If you would like any more information on how to turn on MFA in your Estatesearch Portal account, please contact your Account Manager or the helpdesk team on helpdesk@estatesearch.co.uk
