Will Writers granted ABS license to run legal firm

A company have been granted a license to run a law firm as an Alternative Business Structure after they appointed two solicitors.

Two of Lifetime Legal’s directors have been running a will writing company since 2007. The new firm is part of the Lifetime financial services group based in St Albans and will enable the financial services group to offer financial advice to their clients at all of their stages of life.

Lifetime Legal set up in Peterborough as unregulated will writers last year and will now offer will writing, probate and trust drafting and intend to add conveyancing services later this year.

Charlotte Corbyn, Head of Private Client said: “We are delighted to have been granted an ABS license. This will enable us to offer our clients additional legal services whilst keeping 100% of the process in house. Our relationship with the Lifetime Group gives us great scope to offer end to end life planning”
