What we Loved about Celebrating with the Industry

The British Wills and Probate Awards, brought to us by Today’s Media, recently celebrated its sixth anniversary bringing together more than 450 attendees in person and over 150 virtually. This prestigious Award ceremony, which gathered leading professionals from the Wills and Probate sector, was hosted at the new venue of The Kimpton Clock Tower Hotel in Manchester on Wednesday 11th October 2023 as the event outgrew the previous location.

The British Wills and Probate Awards emphasises the achievements and recognises the success of firms and individuals across a comprehensive range of awards. This year, awards were presented in a total of 26 different categories.

At Exizent, we believe that it’s important to recognise good practice and celebrate excellence in the sector. We were thrilled therefore to have continued, for the third year, as Networking Sponsor of this year’s remarkable event. As one of the key sponsors, this enabled us to host a Networking Reception for all the attendees. We loved celebrating with all the companies and individuals who are making a real difference in the sector.

We were delighted too that, as the Networking Sponsor, we also had the opportunity to address all the attendees and online delegates during the Awards Ceremony. The speech was delivered by Aleks Tomczyk, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Exizent. If you couldn’t attend and wish to read what Aleks said, the speech can be found here: Speech by Aleks Tomczyk at The British Wills and Probate Awards 2023

The evening proved to be very successful, and we value our participation in this unique annual occasion. It provided an excellent opportunity to connect and network with many professionals as well as acknowledge achievements, share knowledge, promote best practices, and foster collaboration which are of the utmost importance to us. We are delighted that through sponsorship and participation, we could contribute to industry engagement.

Aleks Tomczyk, Managing Director of Exizent, commented on the evening:

“Huge congratulations to all the winners, highly commended and shortlisted nominees from all of us at Exizent. As a judge myself I know the standard of entries was excellent, so everyone has done very well and it was a big kick to see what it meant to everyone.”

Exizent also sponsored the Customer Service Champion Award category for which we have a strong affinity and which was presented by Laura McFarlane Exizent’s Product Owner and Head of Customer Success.

Congratulations to Just Clear, the winner of this award category, and Morecambe Bay Wills and Estates Limited who were recognised as Highly Commended.

We take particular pride in sponsoring this award category, driven by our purpose of improving the bereavement experience for everyone involved. We believe this is reflected in our software, specially designed for professionals dealing with probate / executry, such as law firms and accountants. It leverages the efforts of our users, allowing them to dedicate more time to delivering outstanding customer service.
