A new recruitment agency dedicated to the legal services sector has opened its doors to ‘address the evolving needs of the legal sector’ says its founders.
VacantC Legal Recruitment has been co-founded by Bold Legal Group CEO Rob Hailstone, and technology executive Craig Taylor who was until recently Chief Revenue Officer at Thread Legal Software having spent 7 years at LEAP. The business says it will provide recruitment solutions, including executive search, candidate placement, and employer consulting, to law firms and the wider legal services and technology sectors.
Leaning on the experience and expertise of the founders, VacantC will focus specifically on the legal sector and says it will look to build ‘strong, long-term partnerships with a pro-active diversity and inclusion element within the legal profession.’
Talent retention and recruitment remains one of the top challenges for law firms, with the legal sector and employments models undergoing ‘significant transformation’ according to Hailstone;
“We are committed to helping legal sector firms navigate these complexities by connecting them with exceptional talent and providing strategic guidance to optimise their hiring processes.”
Craig Taylor, who brings a wealth of experience in legal services, technology, and recruitment, adds
“Our focus extends beyond simply filling vacancies. We strive to understand the unique culture and values of each firm, ensuring that our placements contribute to long-term organisational success. Our ethos is very much ‘value over volume’ “
In addition to the sourcing and vetting of candidates from across legal services, VacantC will also provide guidance on recruitment strategies, compensation and benefits packages, employer branding, and talent acquisition best practice for firms.
