Unique new category revealed for this year’s British Wills and Probate Awards

Today, Friday 21st May 2021, we have some exciting news to bring to you. In this, our fourth year, we are introducing a very special new award and you as a collection of industry professionals, are our judges.

The Today’s Wills and Probate Industry Champion award, which is sponsored by Arken.legal, will be awarded to the person deemed by you, to have made an exceptional and inspiring contribution to the Wills and Probate industry over the last 12 months.

Karen Babington, Director of Today’s Wills and Probate who host the awards, said:

“We introduced the British Wills and Probate awards four years ago to recognise and reward industry professionals within the sector. Each year we ask ourselves, and you, how we can seek to involve more people who work within wills and probate. After much consideration and consultation we are over the moon to introduce the Today’s Wills and Probate Industry Champion Award which will now be awarded via your industry vote.”

“We would encourage all of you to nominate an outstanding invidivual outside of your organisation for this particular award, with the winner revealed on the 21st October, 2021. Nominations take a couple of minutes and you have until 11th June to do so.”

Dave Newick, CEO of Arken.legal, said:

“Arken.legal is thrilled to be sponsoring the brand new Industry Champion award – which shines a spotlight on those that have gone that extra mile for the sector; those that push boundaries for the better. These ambitious and innovative qualities really resonate and align with all that Arken stands for. We are honoured to sponsor such an important award, voted for by the industry. Champions come in a number of guises, with many too humble to shout about their successes. It’s up to the industry to highlight these individuals and celebrate their achievements.”
