Trust corporations launched by two established firms

Two long-standing private client firms have announced they have launched trust corporations to manage deputyships, trusteeships, executorships and attorneyships; and expand their services in independent estate administration.

London-based Kingsley Napley, and 7-branch Yorkshire firm Walker Foster have both announced the launch of trust corporations.

Walker Foster’s WF Trust Corporation Limited will specifically be used to deliver the firm’s private client services for holding appointments as executors, attorneys for property and financial affairs, trustees, and deputyships for property and financial affairs say the firm. Commenting, Maxine Heppenstall, Managing Director at Walker Foster Limited said

“We are thrilled to launch WF Trust Corporation Limited as part of our ongoing commitment to providing integrated legal services,” said  “This new venture allows us to offer our clients a seamless and comprehensive approach to planning for now and into the future. By operating through an enduring corporate trustee, we remove the need for replacement appointments and provide continuity that our clients can rely on. WF Trust Corporation Limited is always available to act, with at least one director typically on hand to sign and administer matters efficiently – a practical advantage over individual trustees who may not always be accessible. Our directors include experienced solicitors with extensive knowledge of private client work, trust management, and inheritance tax, offering reassurance that trusts are administered with professional oversight and sound judgment.

“Unlike individual trustees, who may hesitate due to personal liability concerns, WF Trust Corporation Limited acts with institutional strength and a higher duty of care to beneficiaries. Over time, changes in directorship will also introduce new thinking and maintain the level of rigour required for this responsibility. We believe this structure gives our clients greater confidence in the long-term stewardship of their trust arrangements.”

The announcement of Kingsley Napley’s trust corporation launch coincides with the appointment of Kiran Vasudeva from the London office of JMW. Vasudeva joins as a partner in the private client team having trained and qualified at Irwin Mitchell, before spells at New Quadrant Partners and JMW. She specialises in Court of Protection and Deputyships work and said she is ‘very much looking forward to continuing my practice at Kingsley Napley and to the opportunity to be part of their respected Court of Protection team.’ She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) as well as vice chair of the Court of Protection Practitioners Association (London subgroup); and has been ranked by Chambers for the last 6 years including in its most recent 2025 directory.

Welcoming Vasudena, James Ward, Head of Private Client at Kingsley Napley said

“I am delighted to welcome Kiran to the firm. She is well known to a lot of our Private Client team and is well regarded for her excellent client service. We have a successful and dedicated team that focuses on Deputyships and Court of Protection work and Kiran will be a great fit to support our growing client needs in this area.”

“In addition, the formation of the Kingsley Napley Trust Corporation enhances our offering for deputies, executors and trusts. It shows our on-going commitment in the Private Wealth sphere and provides further wrap around services for our clients.”
