Competition and classic bikes race to sale

Silverstone Auctions May Sale this weekend is their first auction in the past 18 months where bidders are safely welcomed back into the auction hall at Stoneleigh Park. This is also their first dedicated motorcycle sale which features over 80 bikes!

In the line-up are five competition race bikes up for grabs, they include Lot 656 the ex-Dennis Langton 1947 Norton Model 40 Manx with TT provenance, Lot 618 a 1996 Seeley framed Matchless G50 that’s ready to go, Lot 619 the 1963 Goodwood Revival eligible Norton “Domi Racer” and possibly the rarest Lot 664 the 1956 BSA DBD34 Gold Star Daytona, built to race at the famous Daytona 200 beach race.

Mark Bryan, Motorcycle Specialist for Silverstone Auctions, added:

“I am excited for my first sale with Silverstone Auctions with such a great line-up of bikes! Competition bikes at a Silverstone Auction is the perfect fit, great bikes, great venue and best of all an auction in which people can attend in person.”

Going under the hammer are also some excellent classic bikes. These include Lot 632 MV Agusta Magni 850 Superlight, Lot 680 Triumph X75 Hurricane and Lot 659 Honda CB750 K0 with many more available to preview on their website.

Silverstone Auctions are offering in person viewings of the motorcycles from now – 21st May at Stoneleigh Park.
