Ampla Finance, the specialist lender focused on legal finance and inheritance-related lending, has expanded its team with three new appointments across marketing and introducer-facing roles, while Simkins has promoted Oliver Sharp to partner in the firm’s private client practice, with property lawyer Kim Walker becoming legal director.
Amanda Wesson (pictured right) joins as marketing manager, with Hakeem Osinowo (centre) and Ryan Eastoe (left) taking up new positions as growth specialists.
Wesson has a background in digital marketing across financial services, including roles at Shawbrook and Funding Circle. She will be responsible for delivering Ampla’s marketing activity, supporting introducer communications and ensuring the firm’s proposition is clearly presented across its channels.
Osinowo specialises in bridging, probate and family law-related finance and has experience across the commercial and specialist finance market. He will work closely with legal professionals to support funding across complex and time-sensitive cases.
Eastoe will focus on supporting introducers and their clients across divorce and inheritance-related funding scenarios.
He brings nearly eight years of experience in client-facing roles and will work alongside intermediaries to help manage complex cases.
Peter Beaumont, chief executive officer at Ampla Finance, said: “We are continuing to invest in the areas that matter most to introducers, which is clear communication, consistency and a team that understands the detail behind each case.
“Amanda, Hakeem and Ryan each bring different strengths, but all share a focus on working closely with brokers and professional partners to move cases forward in a considered way.
“These appointments enhance our ability to support introducers across a range of scenarios, particularly where cases involve legal complexity or time-sensitive requirements, and reflect the direction we are taking as a business.”
At Simkins, Oliver Sharp (right) has been promoted to partner in the firm’s private client practice, while property lawyer Kim Walker is now legal director.
Sharp brings significant expertise and experience in estate planning and succession to his new role advising clients on the drafting of wills and lasting powers of attorney, as well as the administration of estates.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining the partnership at Simkins and am grateful to my colleagues for their support and trust. I look forward to continuing to develop the firm’s Private Client practice and further strengthening the high‑quality advice we provide to our clients.”
Walker has become a key member of Simkins since joining the firm in 2021 and is recognised for her extensive knowledge of the property industry. She has significant expertise in real estate investment and advises on the sale and purchase of a diverse range of properties.
