Promotion for Ogier private client lawyer

Ogier’s head of Estate Planning, Wills and Probate in Jersey, Henry Wickham, has been promoted to partner, a move that sees the international practice grow to 108 partners globally.

Henry advises on all aspects of Jersey trusts, foundations and estate planning and related corporate law issues and has experience in both local and international will and probate matters. He has particular expertise in the administration of high net worth and multi-jurisdictional estates as well as complex succession planning and will drafting.

Henry also advises in relation to complex restructurings, corporate migrations and philanthropic structures and, when working with clients who are internationally based, advises on complex private international law issues.

A STEP member and former Chair of STEP Jersey Branch, Henry has sat on a number of consultative bodies relating to Jersey’s trust industry. He speaks on a variety of topics within his field and regularly contributes to a number of publications both locally and further afield.

Ogier’s global managing partner Edward Mackereth said:

“Henry brings a fresh approach to applying innovation to trust and estate planning and using technology to deliver excellent and efficient client services. We are very pleased to congratulate Henry on his achievement.”
