SFE National Conference

Last chance to book your ticket for the SFE National Conference

The annual SFE National Conference is taking place this Thursday (23rd June) at Kings Place, London. Due to national rail strikes, the event is also being live streamed for people who can’t make it to the venue.

The line-up of speakers include Barbara Rich and Independent Consultant Solicitor, Mediator, author & legal trainer, Caroline Bielanska. Together with family solicitor, Stuart Barlow and Head of Community Care Law at Martin Searle Solicitors, Cate Searle, they’ll share their wealth of knowledge and expertise covering different elements of the case from intestacy and the care act to safeguarding reporting and guardianship.

Following the success of last year’s format, attendees will explore an in-depth case study to explore throughout the day with expert speakers on hand to help delegates unpick the key legal issues faced by widow “Nina Wright”, whose husband Stuart died suddenly in a car accident. Together they had three children, including their eldest child Ben who is 25 and has Down’s Syndrome. Nina discovers Stuart had an affair which resulted in a child and with her children facing their issues and making demands, she turns to her local SFE solicitor.
