Further strategic growth for TikTok’s ‘Asset Protection Guy’

Estate planning and asset protection firm Strategic Asset Protection (SAP) has announced a number of further hires as it targets continued growth and innovation in the sector.

Launched by Mike Hiner, the business has successfully developed its social media presence on TikTok with Hiner’s handle “@theassetprotectionguy” amassing over 120.000 followers. In July of this year Jonathan Maskew, known to many through his career in national law firms including Simpson Millar and Taylor Rose, accountancy, and most recently Director of Partnerships at CTT Group, joined the business, bringing his extensive strategic insight and relationship-building expertise to the role said Hiner at the time.

The latest appointments reflect SAP’s ‘strategic focus on expanding its capabilities and deepening its expertise across key disciplines’ said founder Hiner, adding:

“This expansion reflects our strategic vision to build a team that not only understands the complexities of asset protection but also leads with innovation and empathy.

Marios Pampakas, a qualified accountant and TEP qualified estate planner has developed and participated in wealth and asset protection strategies where companies and individuals face increasingly complex challenges. Ava Vinokourova, is a TEP qualified lawyer specialising in trusts, wealth management, and family wealth protection structures. With expertise in equity and trusts and commercial law, she has extensive knowledge of European trust arrangements and the tax regimes that underpin them.

Finally, Hannah Foody join as an estate planner, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in wills, trusts and estate planning.

Chairman Nadim explained the three recruits each brought their own individual skill sets to the team saying:

“Operational excellence is at the heart of everything we do. With Hannah’s precision, Marios’ analytical depth, and Ava’s client-centric approach, we are better positioned than ever to deliver seamless, secure, and forward-thinking solutions.”

Jonathan Maskew, Director, added:

“This expansion represents more than team growth, it reflects a deliberate alignment with our long-term strategic objectives and core values. Each new appointment brings distinct expertise that enhances our collective capability, strengthens our client offering, and positions us for sustained impact in a rapidly evolving landscape. I’m delighted to welcome Marios, Ava, and Hannah, and confident in the value they will bring to our clients and our wider advisory network.”

Michael, Director, concluded:

“We are entering a new phase of growth, and the timing couldn’t be better. The calibre of talent joining us is a testament to our reputation in the market. We’re excited about the collaborative energy this team will bring to our clients and partners.”
