Estatesearch Director Named in Inaugural O List

Leading legal technology provider Estatesearch, is celebrating as director Ben Furlong has been named as one of the legal industry’s first O Listers.

The O List, created by O Shaped, showcases 25 individuals who make the legal profession better for those who are in it, those who use it and those who are entering it.

Inspired by his son Oliver who was born with a critical pulmonary stenosis and the surgeon who saved his life, Dan Kayne set up O Shaped to create a much more human and personable way of engaging with business colleagues.  The O List now showcases 25 people selected from over 170 nominations who make a positive impact on the legal profession and put people first. Candidates were put forward for their approach to the terms: Open, Original, Opportunity, Ownership and Optimism.

Ben Furlong Customer Services Director, Estatesearch said:  “I am absolutely thrilled to have been included in the inaugural O List, it’s truly an honour to be recognised alongside such an outstanding list of people all working to make the legal profession a better place to be.

“Even more overwhelming is that my colleagues at Estatesearch felt I was deserving of such a nomination and unbeknown to me put their time, energy and effort into putting me forward.  It helps me feel like I’m doing some things right!

“My mindset has been shaped by the people I’ve known and worked with over the past several years, and continues to be inspired by all the wonderful business owners I know who are working hard to make a difference.”
