Deadline day: Early bird entries to #BWAPAwards2023

Friday 12th May marks the deadline for early bird entries to the British Wills and Probate Awards 2023 at the discounted rate of £129 +VAT.

The event is set to take place at a brand new venue, Manchester’s Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, on Wednesday 11th October 2023.

The awards – now in their sixth year – are recognised as an unrivalled event that identifies and celebrates the very best firms and individuals working in the private client and estate planning profession.

Alongside returning favourite categories including “Innovation and Transformation of the Year”, Solicitor Firm of the Year“, “Will Writing Firms of the Year“, and “Court of Protection Team of the Year“, a raft of new categories have been introduced. See all categories.

The Awards will also welcome a brand new headline sponsor in CTT Group as well as returning networking sponsor Exizent.

Also returning will be our revered host Jennie Bond, who is set to play a key part in coverage of the Coronation over the weekend, something she may well touch upon while on stage at the event.

Why are the British Wills and Probate Awards so special?

Don’t take it from us… here is some sentiment from previous winners at the Awards.

“The Awards were so special to us as we really saw the event as a reward to the team for working so hard through the year,” said Laurelo – winner, 2022, “Probate Provider of the Year – South”.

“We loved the run-down of the event and the inclusive yet prestigious nature of the evening. Plus, we got to network with many industry experts and leaders, which was amazing. The event was one thing, but the win was a massive bonus for us.”

Lawson West Solicitors – highly commended in the “Outstanding Employee Experience” category last year – said:

“It was lovely to meet people from all across the industry at the event – not just fellow lawyers but those working in finance, genealogy, and innovative tech companies – all of whom help make our jobs easier! It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the industry’s successes.”

What makes the event even more special is the opportunity to come away as a winner. Hugh Jones Solicitors – Winner, 2022, “Solicitor Firm of the Year – North”, said it was “wonderful” to have their work recognised by the Judges:

“We are proud to be experts in our field and the award is credit to not only our team’s expertise but also their commitment to client care.”

Title Research – winner 2022 ‘Probate Research Firm of the Year’ – added:

“The British Wills and Probate Awards 2022 was a fantastic event – both on and offline. It was great to attend in person and network with so many leading professionals within the industry. We also appreciated the live stream of the ceremony so our entire team could watch and join in with the celebrations.”

Early bird entry is open until Friday 12th May with entry increasing to £169 +VAT thereafter. Awards entry will close Friday 7th July with final submissions due by Friday 14th July.
