National Paralegal Awards 2022

Anglia Research double winners at National Paralegal Awards

Expert probate research firm Anglia Research were revealed as double winners at the National Paralegal Awards held on 22nd September at the Grand Hotel in Birmingham.

In a first for the company, the team walked away with the much sought-after award for the Probate Research Organisation of the Year, beating off strong competition to secure the accolade.

On an individual basis, long-time employee and Private Client Manager Carolyn Felgate was announced as the winner of the Best Probate Research Paralegal, from a final shortlist of eight candidates.

Probate research is a crucial part of the private client law sector, offering specialist assistance to practitioners such as locating missing beneficiaries named in wills, or establishing the relevant next of kin in intestacy cases, as well as a whole range of other support services.

The National Paralegal Awards, organised by the overarching voluntary regulator for Paralegals, the Professional Paralegal Register, champions and rewards the fantastic work undertaken by paralegals across all sectors in the UK.

Anglia Research’s Executive Director Philip Turvey said of the triumphs:

“We are absolutely delighted to have won these awards, and it is a testament to the fine work that our team carry out on a daily basis. We are immensely proud to receive further external validation that we are continuing on the right path in both how we operate and also with the staff development opportunities that we offer.”
