Britney lacked capacity according to lawyer

The Britney Spears conservatorship battle continues, with her lawyers outlining her mental capacity, and detailing the pressures her father (sole conservator) has been placing on her.

Spear’s lawyer, Sam Ingham has described the pop princess’ mental state of that “of a patient in a coma“. This is preventing her from detailing her side of the issue and consent to a legal arrangement.

The publication TMZ published after last weeks hearing that Ingham said the singer was unable to sign a sworn declaration in the case surrounding her conservatorship after the judge probed Britney’s request to have a co-conservator join her father Jamie Spears.

The court proceedings then delved into what the future holds for Britney, with Ingham reporting that Jamie Spears is in fact pushing his daughter to get back into the music studio and record new material, against the wishes of his daughter. She even went as far as addressing a previous court hearing objecting to her father’s attempt to rehire her estate manager.

The case is still ongoing.

  1. Wonder when Britney’s lawyer, Sam Ingham, had time to go through medical school and get his degree and license to practice medicine…..?
