Tower Street Finance pledges £10k to Cruse

Inheritance lending specialist Tower Street Finance has pledged to raise £10,000 for Cruse Bereavement Care as its official charity partner during 2021.

Fundraising activities by the Harrogate-based Tower Street Finance team include potential marathon running and a Tough Mudder event alongside a corporate donation and promotion of the charity among its introducer partners including probate administrators, accountants and lawyers.

Tower Street Finance business development director Dicky Davies said:

“Cruse is a natural partner for Tower Street Finance as it is supporting people through bereavement and that is also the time when they are most likely to become our customers.

“We help people with the financial challenges of bereavement but that’s only one element of the grieving process, partnering with Cruse means we’re able to contribute to the vital work they do as well as providing a holistic service to our customers who may need additional support.

“We’re delighted to support them with our fundraising activities in 2021.”

Cruse Bereavement Care head of fundraising Charlene Vallory said:

“Bereavement and grief can be devastating for those who are left behind and it’s important they have somewhere to turn for help and support.

“The death of someone close is one of the most devastating things any of us will ever go through. Cruse can be a lifeline for anyone struggling with grief. Over the last year, we’ve provided direct support to more people than ever and we can only continue to do so with help from our corporate partners and our incredible volunteers.

“Having Tower Street Finance on board as fundraisers will make a huge difference to the number of people we can help, which is why we are delighted they have chosen us as the focus for their fundraising activities.”

Cruse Bereavement Care offers support, advice and information for children, young people and adults when someone dies. It also works to enhance society’s care of bereaved individuals.

Tower Street Finance offers two financial products that make it easier and quicker for executors and beneficiaries to access an inheritance. Its IHT Loan is for executors and is paid directly to HMRC to settle the tax bill, and its award-winning Inheritance Advance is for beneficiaries to access a proportion of their inheritance earlier. Neither carries any personal liability for the customer.
