Law Society surveys solicitors on will reform

Private Client Solicitors are being asked by The Law Society for their opinions on the The Law Commission wills reform project via a short survey.

Questions include topics such as rules on marriage revoking a will and the use of digital technology to make wills.

Unique emails are being sent to those participating in the survey. For those eligible, please take part and respond as this will help the Law Society to confirm policy positions on key issues that the Law Commission will be examining when they hold an additional consultation in September.

Emails are sent to the email address listed on the solicitor’s profile page on the Law Society’s Find-a-Solicitor website. If solicitors have a generic email listed (for example info@lawfirm.co.uk) rather than their own specific email address, then they should check that inbox for their unique link.

The closing date for responses is 14th June.
