A major research project examining the challenges, ambitions and priorities of Welsh law firms will give the sector its first opportunity to see the findings when the Welsh Legal Sector Transformation Report 2026 is unveiled in Cardiff next month.
Legal News Wales and independent legal software provider Osprey Approach gathered the views of more than 50 law firms across Wales, with 96% of respondents holding senior leadership, management or operational roles. The report explores issues including business performance and growth, recruitment and succession, technology and artificial intelligence, pricing and business models, and the changing demands facing law firms.
The findings will be unveiled for the first time at the Legal Leaders Lunch: Shaping the Future of the Welsh Legal Sector, taking place at The Ivy, Cardiff, on Tuesday 6 October. Hosted by Legal News Wales and Osprey Approach, the event will bring together SME law firm leaders from across Wales to explore the findings, share experiences and discuss what they could mean for the future of the sector. Attendees will receive first access to the report’s findings.
