If you haven’t yet completed Remember A Charity’s short survey on the role of professional advisers in charitable legacy giving, there’s still time to share your views.

The charity runs an annual Professional Adviser Tracking study, which explores how advisers approach charitable giving.

The results will help the sector better understand current practice, identify barriers and opportunities, and shape future guidance for advisers and their clients. All participants will be entered into a prize draw to win one of five £50 vouchers.

Last year’s survey revealed 92% of professional advisers believed that estate and tax planning will become even more important following the inheritance tax (IHT) changes announced in the 2024 Autumn Statement; 60% said they were already receiving more requests for advice; 65% said charitable tax incentives will become even more important to their client base; and 62% thought more people would consider leaving a gift to charity.

Take this year’s survey to share your views.
