Fosters Solicitors has announced the appointment of Paige Gouldthorpe to the Partnership of the Norfolk-based firm, heading up the dedicated Court of Protection & Vulnerable Persons department.
Gouldthorpe joined Fosters’ Wills, Trusts & Probate team in January 2021 and has since risen to become one of the youngest partners in the firm. She joins nine other colleagues who the firm are celebrating this September with promotions in the property teams, family and children, medical negligence and crime and business defence teams; a result of the firm’s internal career development programme.
“Huge congratulations to all those who have seen promotions as part of this year’s Career Development Programme cohort. It’s been great to work with this group on a number of projects and see how they’ve grown and reach the next stage of their career with Fosters. We’re delighted to announce all of these promotions and look forward to continuing our work together.”
said Partner and Fosters’ career development lead, Jamie Arnall.
“From the moment she joined us, Paige has brought energy, vision and drive to everything she does. Her success, initially as a part of our Wills, Trusts & Probate department, and more recently in establishing and growing the specialist Court of Protection team – whilst also studying and looking after her clients, is testament to her skills, ability and client-focused approach – and on behalf of the Equity Partners, I am extremely pleased to welcome Paige to the Partnership.”
In recent years Gouldthorpe has taken the role of Chair of Women in Wills; a collaboration and networking group for private client professionals from across the regulated and unregulated sectors. She also spoke at this summers’ TWP Festival on the importance of being a human first, and lawyer second. Commenting on her appointment Gouldthorpe said
“Starting out in the industry at just 17, I’ve had the privilege of growing from those early days of learning the ropes, to finding my niche, to running my own department and now, stepping into this new chapter.
“This milestone is more than just a title – it’s a reflection of the hard work, dedication, challenges, and opportunities that have shaped my career so far. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has supported and inspired me along the way, and I’m excited for what lies ahead as part of the Fosters’ Partnership and with my wonderful team.”
