Introducing FamilyChecker™: Title Research’s new family tree verification service

Title Research is delighted to launch its new FamilyChecker™ service, in partnership with Zurich Insurance.

For a single fixed fee we will fully verify the family tree you provide us, and obtain any missing documentation needed to confirm that it is correct. Upon completion we will provide a distribution schedule and an insurance policy to protect the Personal Representatives and beneficiaries from any potential future liability in respect of any unknown beneficiaries entitled under the laws of intestacy. This insurance policy is included within the fixed price.

Simon Barber, Technical Manager at Title Research, says ‘it is vital that family trees are professionally verified before distribution. We have seen many clients have a lucky escape from a potential mis-distribution because of a missing certificate or previously unknown relationship which changes the make up of the family entirely.’

Jeff de-Rhune, Underwriting Manager at the Zurich Trusts & Estates Centre says ‘I am delighted to be working with Title Research on this exciting project and look forward to helping them provide insurance solutions for their clients.’

For a single fixed price, we will provide clients with a verified family tree, distribution schedule, insurance policy and carry out a Certainty WillSearch. FamilyChecker™ provides complete peace of mind before distribution.
