Number of LPAs granted triples in five years
The number of lasting powers of attorney (LPAs) granted annually has tripled between 2010 and 2015. Overall, 128,746 LPAs were granted by the Office of the Public Guardian in 2010, whilst 441,461 were granted in 2015.
